Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrival in Lisbon
Welcome to Lisbon, the beautiful capital of Portugal. A private driver will meet you upon arrival and take you to your hotel in the city center for check-in. Nothing is planned for the rest of the day, so you are welcome to start exploring the amazing capital of Portugal on your own.

Day 2: Lisbon City Tour & Sunset River Cruise
This morning, after breakfast, you meet your guide in the city center and enjoy an exciting 3-hour walking tour around Lisbon’s most famous sights, such as Praça do Comércio, Bairro Alto, and the Church of São Roque. The guide will show you not only the most renowned landmarks but also some hidden gems that most tourists miss.
After the tour, you have a break to have a proper lunch, take a long stroll in the city center, or rest in your hotel room.Â
And in the evening, we invite you on a romantic sunset boat ride. Cruise around the Tagus River, admiring the beautifully illuminated sights of the city and the remarkable atmosphere of Lisbon at night.

Day 3: Day Trip to Sintra
Today, you have breakfast and head to the hotel lobby to meet your guide, who will take you to the gem that is the stunning city of Sintra and show you around its remarkable sights, Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira.
The Pena Palace is the iconic symbol of the area, looking like a place from a Disney fairytale with its beautiful facade full of life and colors. The sight is definitely a must-see, as it is considered one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal. The interiors of the palace are also something to admire; you will feel like royalty marveling at the rich decorations and furniture. One of the things to keep an eye on is the extraordinary decorative tiles that adorn the rooms.
Quinta da Regaliera boasts a very different atmosphere, evoking images of witchcraft and mistery. During the tour, you get to not only go inside the impressive castle but also enjoy a tour of the grounds—a true treasure of a sight. One of the most popular landmarks in the area is a Wishing Well, an incredible underground tower that serves as an entrance to a complicated labyrinth that ends in a cave, hidden behind a waterfall. How cool is that?

Day 4: Free Day
With nothing planned today, you are free to explore the Portuguese capital on your own.
Alternatively, we can organize the Pastel de Nata cooking class with a local chef, who will teach you how to cook the most famous local dessert (160 USD per person). A professional chef will teach you the art of baking, offer some useful tips, and make sure that you have a great time!

Day 5: Departure from Lisbon & Arrival to Coimbra
Today, you enjoy a delicious breakfast, check out of your Lisbon hotel, and have a private transfer to the train station, where you catch a train to Coimbra. The ride takes about 2 hours, so lay back, relax, and take in the stunning views outside the window. Upon arrival, a private driver will be waiting to take you to your hotel in the city center.
There is nothing planned for the rest of the day, and you are free to start exploring the city on your own.Â

Day 6: Coimbra City Tour
After breakfast, it's time to get to know the city of Coimbra better. A private guide will be waiting in the city center to show you around the most iconic sights, such as the University of Coimbra, Sé Velha, and the Monastery of Santa Clara-a-Nova among other amazing landmarks. See Coimbra from a local's perspective and enjoy the fascinating stories about this remarkable city that your host has in abundance. They are in love with the city, and they will do their best to make sure that you love it just as much.Â

Day 7: Departure from Coimbra & Arrival to Porto
Get ready for an exciting day ahead! The Algarve Region is famous for its natural beauty, and you have a chance to see why. After breakfast, you meet your guide in the hotel lobby and kick off your day trip with a stop at Cape Sao Vicente, the southwesternmost point of mainland Europe. Before the 15th century, this stunning stretch of the coast was believed to be the end of the world, and when you stand on top of the 40-meter-high cliffs and look at the boundless ocean, you can easily see why.
Next, you head to the fortress of Sagres, an amazing sight boasting a rich historical and cultural heritage. What makes it extra special is the interesting layout, as steep 60-meter cliffs serve as the natural walls of the fortress, making it a majestic sight to behold.
After that, you head to Ponta da Piedade, one of the most beautiful spots in Portugal, which will surely take your breath away. The area is famous for its golden cliffs towering over the Atlantic Ocean and forming caves, natural sea arches, and hidden grottos, and you are welcome to add a boat trip to see this beauty up close.Â
Following that, you head to the city of Lagos for lunch in its historical center before starting your drive back to Albufeira. On your way there, you will enjoy stops at Praia da Rocha and Portimao Marina. some of the most famous beaches in the country.
There is nothing planned after the trip, and you are welcome to enjoy the evening at your leisure.
The following day, after breakfast, you check out of your Coimbra hotel and go down to the lobby, where you meet a private driver who will take you to the railway station. Upon arrival, you board a fast and modern train to Porto and enjoy a 1.5-hour ride on a very scenic route.
A private driver will be waiting at the Porto train station to take you to your hotel for check-in. After that, you are free to start exploring the city on your own.

Day 8: Porto City Tour & Evening Fado Show
The next morning, you enjoy a delicious breakfast in your hotel, meet your guide in the city center, and set off to explore Porto’s best sights. Admire the cream de la cream of the city’s must-sees, including such iconic landmarks as Sao Bento train station with its marvelous frescos, Fonte dos Leões, Porto Gardens, Porto Cathedral, Louis I Bridge, and more!
And in the evening, we invite you to enjoy something very special: an hour of Fado music,the traditional sounds of Porto. The event will take place in a majestic historical venue boasting amazing acoustics to make sure that you are swept away by the touching music, accompanied by a glass of excellent wine.Â
Nothing is planned after the Fado concert, and you are welcome to enjoy your evening at leisure.

Day 9: Free Day
Today, there is nothing planned. Make sure to enjoy the best the city has to offer, take advantage of its incredible restaurant scene, or hunt for souvenirs to bring back home.
Alternatively, we will be happy to arrange a food tour of Porto for you (82 USD per person). Make sure to bring your appetite, as you will try all the iconic foods and drinks the city is famous for. This experience is all about Porto, history, food, and wine, and your local host will make sure that you have a fantastic time.

Day 10: Departure
Today is the last day of your Portugal adventure. After breakfast, you check out and meet your private driver who will take you to the airport. We wish you a safe flight and can't wait to start working on your next vacation!

Travel Inventor provided us with a wonderful European adventure. The guides were excellent, and the itinerary was diverse. However, there were a couple of instances where we encountered transportation delays, which slightly impacted our schedule.
