Tour Plan

Day 1: Welcome to Switzerland

Welcome to Switzerland, the beautiful destination famous for its dramatic landscapes, delicious food, and rich cultural heritage. A private driver will meet you at the airport upon arrival in Zurich and take you to your centrally located hotel for check-in. There is nothing planned for today, so the rest of the day is yours to start exploring the remarkable city on your own.

Day 2: Private Tour of Zurich and Train to Interlaken

This morning, you enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel and head to the city center, where a local guide will be waiting to take you around the most famous sights of Zurich, such as Lindenhof Hill, Romanesque Grossmünster, Rathaus, and Fraumünster Church. They will share some fascinating stories about the cities and show you a few hidden gems most tourists miss when exploring the city.

And in the evening, you have a private transfer to the train station, where you will take a high-speed train to Interlaken. An experienced driver will be waiting for your arrival at the train station in Interlaken to take you to your centrally located hotel.

Day 3: Highlights of Jungfrau Region

Today, we invite you to enjoy the Swiss Alps at their best and explore the stunning highlights of the Jungfrau Region. This destination is a fantastic choice to see why Switzerland is considered a treasure trove of breathtaking natural wonders, so make sure to charge your cameras. During the day trip, you will visit the charming glacier village of Grindelwald, boasting some of the most incredible alpine scenery in the world; the valley of Lauterbrunnen, a place most historians believe to be Tolkien’s inspiration for the fairytale Rivendell in his famous Lord of the Rings trilogy; and the vibrant village of Murren, boasting the best view of the majestic Jungfrau Mountain.

There is nothing planned after you get back to Interlaken, so feel free to keep exploring the city on your own.

Day 4: Free Day in Interlaken

Today, there is nothing planned. Enjoy the best the city has to offer, take advantage of its incredible restaurant scene, or hunt for souvenirs to bring back home. We will be happy to book a table in one of the best local restaurants for you.

Day 5: Departure from Interlaken & Train to Zermatt

This morning, after breakfast, you check out from your Interlaken hotel and have a private transfer to the train station to catch your train to beautiful Zermatt. Upon arrival, you have a transfer to your hotel in the city center for check-in.

There is nothing planned for the rest of the day, and you are free to start exploring the city on your own.

Day 6: Self-Guided Day Trip to Gornegrat

Today, we invite you to explore the best of Gornegrat, boasting breathtaking peaks, picturesque landscapes, and the best views of the Matterhorn. There will be no guide accompanying you, but to enjoy the day to the fullest, we've prepared a full-day itinerary you could follow to take the best the city has to offer.

10:24 Train: Zermatt - Riffelberg.
10:47 Hike: The Mark Twain Trail from the Riffelberg to Riffelalp.
12:17 Cheese Tasting: Go to the cheese refrigerator on the Riffelalp (located next to the Restaurant Alphitta) and buy the famous local cheese. Please note that the cheese is available from June to September.
12:57 Lunch: Have a hearty meal in the Alphitta Restaurant.

Day 7: Train to Milan and Half-Day Private Sightseeing Tour

The following day, you have breakfast, check out from your hotel in Zermatt and have a private transfer to a rail station to catch a fast and comfortable train to Milan. Upon arrival in the fashion capital of Italy, you have a private transfer to your downtown hotel for check-in. After that, you have some time to rest after the trip.

And after lunch, you head to the city center to meet your professional local guide who will show you around all Milan's must-sees. During the tour, your gracious host will share not only the fascinating facts from the city's history with you, but, more importantly, they will also share their passion for Milan with you to ensure an unforgettable experience. See the world-famous Milan Cathedral, Santa Maria delle Grazie, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, as well as many other famous tourist attractions. But there is more to Milan than popular sights, and your guide will show you the real city behind the touristy facade and show you some amazing hidden gems most people miss when exploring the city.

Day 8: Duomo with Terraces Sightseeing

This morning, you have a delicious breakfast and head to the city center for a guided tour of one of the most iconic places in Milan, the stunning Duomo. Breath in and admire seven centuries of art and history; take in the breathtaking stained-glass windows and treasured relics as your travel guide shares some fascinating facts about the iconic sights. Then, take the lift to the rooftop terrace and enjoy the amazing view, admiring the whole city from the top of the 6th-biggest and one of the most stunning churches in the world.

Day 9: Departure from Milan and Arrival to Florence

The next day, after breakfast, you check out from your hotel in Milan and have a transfer to the train station, where you catch a high-speed train to stunning Florence. A private driver will be waiting to take you to your centrally located hotel upon your arrival.

Day 10: Gastronomy Treasures of Emilia-Romagna Region

Today, we invite you to join a private guide on an unforgettable culinary journey, exploring Emilia-Romagna's most iconic products.

The region is famous for its incredible craftsmanship of some of the most iconic flavours of Italy, from the best Parmegiano Reggiano, the one-and-only Balsamic vinegar from Modena, and Prosciutto di Modena, aged to perfection that it melts in the mouth. You will get a chance to see behind the scenes of the traditional flavours, taste the best products the factories have to offer, and enjoy a traditional region's lunch prepared according to the ancient culinary traditions of Emilia-Romagna.

After the tour, you return to your hotel.

Day 11: Train to Rome & Evening City Tour

The next day, after breakfast, you check out from your hotel in Florence and have a transfer to the train station. There, you board a fast and modern train going to Rome, the glorious capital of Italy. Upon arrival in the Eternal City, a private driver will meet you at the train station and take you to your centrally located hotel for check-in. After that, you have a few hours free to rest after the trip or start exploring the city on your own.

And in the evening, we invite you on a sightseeing tour of Rome's highlights, such as Piazza del Popolo, Piazza di Spagna, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, the biggest Baroque fountain in Rome, and many other wonderful places. There is nothing planned after the tour, so you are free to keep exploring the city on your own.

Day 12: Ancient Rome: Colosseum, the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill

Today you enjoy a nice breakfast in a hotel and have a private Colosseum tour with Ancient Rome Highlights. Meet your private guide in the hotel lobby for the start of the tour.

Your tour will start by visiting the Forum, where many important events took place: Julius Caesar's cremation, crucial military processions, the keeping of the sacred flame by the Vestal Virgins, and decisions made by senators of the old republic that influenced the destiny of the empire. Then proceed to Palatin Hill, the first of the seven hills upon which Rome was founded. After that, you visit the pearl of your tour, the Colosseum. Marvel at the tier-upon-tier of seating and imagine a time when they were full to capacity with bloodthirsty spectators calling out for more.

After the tour, you have some free time and can explore Rome on your own.

Day 13: Pasta and Tiramisu Cooking Class

The following day, we invite you to enjoy the delicious world of Italian cuisine and learn the secrets of traditional cooking in a master class with a professional chef. You will learn how to make delicious pasta and mouthwatering Tiramisu the way Italians do it, get to know the tricks to getting the perfect dish, and enjoy a delightful lunch after the cooking class.

Day 14: Departure from Italy
