Day 2: Highlights of Rome or Ancient Rome Treasures Tour
Today you enjoy a nice breakfast in a hotel and meet your private guide in the hotel lobby for the start of the tour. But what you will enjoy exploring today is completely up to you. The first option is a city tour with a private guide to see Rome's must-sees, such as the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon, to name a few. And the other is a private sightseeing of probably the most iconic sights of the city: the Colosseum, the Palatine Hill, and the Forum.
If you choose to embark on a city tour, your professional guide will invite you to step back in time and enjoy incredible historic highlights of vibrant Rome! The jewel of Italy, the capital city is an incredible place that will make you fall in love with its rich history, unique works of art, and architectural treasures. From loud names such as Piazza Navona and the Spanish Steps to hidden churches and backstreet gems you would have missed otherwise, this tour will show you Rome in all its glory. To make the experience even more special, your guide will take you to one of the locals' favorite places and treat you to a delicious Roman dessert.
If you choose to explore the treasures of Ancient Rome today, the tour will start by visiting the Forum, an incredible place that witnessed Julius Caesar's cremation, crucial military processions, the keeping of the sacred flame by the Vestal Virgins, decisions made by senators of the old republic that influenced the destiny of the empire, and many other things of unparalleled historic value. After that, you proceed to Palatine Hill, the first of the seven hills and arguably the most important of them, as Rome was founded on it in all its glory. Next, you visit the pearl of your tour, the one-and-only Colosseum. Marvel at the tier upon tier of seating and imagine a time when they were full to capacity with bloodthirsty spectators calling out for more.
After the tour, you have some free time and can explore Rome on your own.
Please, let your destination specialist know which tour option you would prefer to include in your itinerary.Â

And after the class, you will enjoy a lovely three-course lunch with DOC wine and homemade tiramisu.

Day 6: Siena, San Gimignano & Tuscan Wine
The following day, after breakfast in the hotel, you meet your guide in the hotel lobby and together you set off on an exciting day trip to see the gems of Tuscany.
Your first destination is the stunning city of Siena. Seemingly frozen in time due to carefully preserved medieval cityscape, the city is one of the most strollable destinations in Italy. Its narrow cobbled streets, picturesque piazzas, majestic city hall, and, of course, the breathtaking Duomo housing art by such masters as Michelangelo and Bernini are must-see places for anyone in love with Italy. And when you get tired of exploring, sit down in one of the small family-run cafes and enjoy a cup of coffee with panpepato or panforte, the traditional sweets of Siena.
Next, you head to San Gimignano, known as “The City of the Hundred Towers." This beautiful medieval city is famous not only for its impressive architecture but also for its amazing Chianti wine. Together with your guide, you will visit the local estate that produces the iconic wine, learn the secrets of the winemaking craft, and enjoy the tasting of 10 different types of wine and a delicious lunch.
After that, you return to Rome and enjoy the rest of the day free to keep exploring the city on your own.
Breakfast and lunch are included.
Overnight in Rome.
