And in the afternoon you embark on a scenic half-day trip to explore the treasures of the Chianti region. Begin your journey in a comfortable, climate-controlled van from a central meeting point, traveling through rolling hills and centuries-old vineyards that are the calling card of the region.

Experience the vibrant colors, captivating sounds, and rich aromas of this timeless land as you explore ancient churches, medieval castles, and quaint villages where tradition remains untouched. Stop in the charming town of Castellina in Chianti before visiting a picturesque wine estate.

There, you will have a chance to savor the deep ruby hues and floral notes characteristic of Chianti wines during a guided tasting. Enjoy a selection of Tuscan delicacies paired with a blend of Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.

This surreal landscape of rolling clay hills and winding roads offers a striking “moonscape” view that sets the tone for a day of discovery and indulgence.

Your first stop is the Renaissance gem of Pienza, nestled in the heart of the Val d’Orcia valley. Commissioned by Pope Pius II, this town was one of the first to be entirely planned on paper by leading architects of the time. Stroll through its harmonious streets, admire the elegant cathedral, and soak in views that have inspired poets and painters for centuries. A wholesome lunch awaits at a local farm, served on a beautiful terrace overlooking the countryside—weather permitting. The meal features fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced directly from the land.

In the afternoon, continue to Montepulciano, one of Tuscany’s largest and most storied hill towns. Today after breakfast you meet your private driver, who will bring you to your hotel in San Gimignano.

At noon you immerse yourself in the heart of Tuscany with a guided tour of the Casa Lucii estate, nestled in the rolling countryside of San Gimignano. Your experience begins with a warm Welcome Aperitivo, setting the tone for an afternoon of flavor, tradition, and discovery.

Stroll through the estate’s lush grounds with your guide, exploring the vegetable garden, orchard, vineyard, olive grove, and the historic vinsantaia and cellar. Along the way, admire a curated collection of antique agricultural tools that tell the story of Tuscan farming heritage.

The tour culminates in a tasting of 8 organic wines, each crafted with care and rooted in the land’s unique terroir.
