The next day, after breakfast, we invite you to explore some of the most amazing places in the Apulia region: fairytale Alberobello and stunning Matera.

The city of Alberobello is nestled a short drive away from Bari and looks like it belongs in a fantasy book. Italy is not short of beautiful old villages, but what makes this destination special is its iconic trulli, small white huts with their signature canonical roofs. Alberobello has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1996, and it's an absolute must-see when on vacation in Apulia.

Next, you head to another gem located nearby, incredible Matera. The magnificent city, nestled on the edge of a cliff in a ravine, is believed to be the third oldest city in the world and is famous for its stunning ancient dwellings, carved out of tuff stone scattered all around the city. The remarkable structures date back about 9 thousand years and were inhabited all the way until the mid-20th century.

After that, you head back to Bari and enjoy your evening at leisure.

You will learn how to make delicious pasta and mouthwatering tiramisu the way Italians do it, get to know the tricks to getting the perfect dish, and enjoy a delightful lunch after the cooking class.
