The direct Naples-Sorrento drive takes about an hour and goes along a very scenic route, offering a stunning view of the Italian countryside. But en route to your destination, the driver will make a stop in Pompeii. Once a thriving Roman city, Pompeii was buried under meters of ash and pumice after the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. and is now one of the most famous sights in Italy. A professional guide will be happy to show you around, share the history of this remarkable destination, and answer all your questions.

The class will take place in a cozy restaurant where you will meet the chef, who will show you a few tricks of the trade, and a small group of fellow travelers (no more than 11 people). Together, you will cook a full menu: a pasta dish, a main course and a dessert, using the best locally sourced ingredients.
