Day 1: Arrival to Italy

Welcome to Rome, the stunning capital of Italy! Upon arrival, you meet your private driver at the airport and have a transfer to your centrally located hotel for check-in.

There is nothing planned for the rest of the day, so feel free to start exploring this remarkable destination on your own.

Day 2: Private Tour of Ancient Highlights

Today you enjoy a nice breakfast in a hotel and have a private Colosseum tour with Ancient Rome Highlights. Meet your private guide in the hotel lobby for the start of the tour.

Your tour will start by visiting the Forum, where many important events took place: Julius Caesar's cremation, crucial military processions, the keeping of the sacred flame by the Vestal Virgins, and decisions made by senators of the old republic that influenced the destiny of the empire. Then proceed to Palatin Hill, the first of the seven hills upon which Rome was founded. After that, you visit the pearl of your tour, the Colosseum. Marvel at the tier-upon-tier of seating and imagine a time when they were full to capacity with bloodthirsty spectators calling out for more.

After the tour, you have some free time and can explore Rome on your own.

Day 3: Vatican City & Surroundings with a Local Guide

This morning, after breakfast, you head out to explore one of the most important cities in the world, the stunning Vatican City. Explore the Vatican Museums' art on this guided tour with a professional guide. Marvel at the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica's masterpieces and dive into the rich histories of these gems, boasting unparalleled cultural significance.

Please note: the Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s Basilica require that all visitors have their knees and shoulders covered.

After the tour, the rest of the day is free and remains at your disposal. You can take a metro to come back to Rome, or we can arrange a transfer for you.

Day 4: Day trip to Papal Residence & Pope's Farm

Get ready for an exciting day as today we invite you to visit Pope's summer residence in Castel Gandolfo, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Even though the residence is no longer used by the Vatican, it doesn't diminish its significance or beauty in the slightest. On a guided tour, you will visit the museum, the Pope’s private quarters, offices, and even the Pope’s bedroom. Your private guide will share with you the history of the place and interesting facts and historical gossip about the people who lived there.

After that, you will travel to the Pope's private farm for a professional cooking class of the traditional Italian cuisine. You will travel there through the meticulously kept grounds of the Pope’s summer residence and will have a chance to marvel at the beauty of the wonderful location. Upon arrival at the farm, you will have a brief tour of the remarkable place supplying the ingredients of the highest quality for the Pope's meals.

Next, you enjoy a private cooking master class where you will learn to make the traditional Italian pasta and scrumptious dessert that melts in the mouth with a professional chef. You will get to know the tricks to getting the perfect dish, get the copies of the recipes so you can repeat them back home, and enjoy a delightful lunch after the class.

On your way back to Rome, you will have some free time to explore the lovely city of Castel Gandolfo. Roam the streets, admire the historical architecture, or stop for a coffee in one of the quiet cafes.

Day 5: Free Day in Rome

Today, there is nothing planned. Enjoy the best the city has to offer, take advantage of its incredible restaurant scene, or hunt for souvenirs to bring back home.

Day 6: Day trip to Assissi

Today, you will visit one of the most Catholic shrines and a popular pilgrimage site, the beautiful medieval city of Assisi. It is closely associated with the Franciscan Order, founded in the 13th century by the Italian saint Francis of Assisi.

During the tour, you will visit the Church of Saint Francis, more commonly known as the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi, his last resting place, also famous for the incredible interiors adorned with the paintings of Cimabue and Giotto. You will also have a chance to visit the Basilica of Santa Chiara, the site of the first burial of both Saint Francis in 1226 and Saint Clare in 1253. The last destination on your itinerary is another sacred pilgrimage sight, the Sanctuary of Spoliazione, home to the grave of Carlo Acutis, the first millennial saint.

After that, you return back to Rome and have the rest of the evening at leisure.

Day 7: Departure from Italy

This is your last day in Italy! Today, you enjoy breakfast in your hotel, check out, and have a transfer to the airport for your flight back home. We wish you a safe trip home and can't wait to start working on your next vacation!
