The following morning, you have breakfast, check out of the Naples hotel, and have some free time to enjoy this vibrant city. Take a chance to get some souvenirs or drink coffee in a local place. And in the afternoon, you meet your private driver. They will be waiting in the hotel lobby to take you to the stunning gem of the Amalfi Coast, the city of Sorrento.

The direct Naples-Sorrento drive takes about an hour and goes along a very scenic route, offering a stunning view of the Italian countryside. But en route to your destination, the driver will make a stop in Pompeii. Once a thriving Roman city, Pompeii was buried under meters of ash and pumice after the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. and is now one of the most famous sights in Italy. A professional guide will be happy to show you around, share the history of this remarkable destination, and answer all your questions.

Get ready for an exciting day! Today, we invite you to dive deep into the rich world of traditional Italian cuisine. As you know, the Sorrento Peninsula is famous for its amazing gastronomy scene with its own delicious traditions, and there is no better way to get to know them than a cooking class at a traditional local tavern.

The class will take place in a cozy restaurant where you will meet the chef, who will show you a few tricks of the trade, and a small group of fellow travelers (no more than 11 people). Together, you will cook a full menu: a pasta dish, a main course and a dessert, using the best locally sourced ingredients. Enjoy a glass of prosecco and follow the old family recipes to learn how to chop, fry, and roast like a seasoned Italian grandma to make a perfect meal.

There, you will visit the vineyards, tour the small necropolis of Porta Sarano, go down to the cellar and amphora rooms for olive oil and bruschetta tasting, and enjoy a delicious lunch based on the revisitation of recipes of the ancient gastronome of the Roman era, Marcus Gaius Apicius.
